The Tauranga International Marathon: It's not like any other marathon event. Well, you can still run/walk 42.2km, 21.1km, 10.5km or 6km—plus there’s a kids (and parents!) dash. But here’s the clincher—it’s the first ever international marathon event to be held in New Zealand’s sunshine capital. Think sea, sun, surf; think cafés, culture and seriously cool stuff; think fast, flat, fun.
